Greetings from Midcoast Maine and welcome to Midcoast Realty Group’s newsletter.
This month I’m excited to introduce an updated website which we hope will provide you with all the information you need for buying or selling a residential or commercial property, and a new blog where we’ll share general industry news as well as local regional market updates.
I’m pleased to introduce all of you to Shelly and Merritt, two agents who have joined me over the last several months and bring a fabulous depth of experience to MRG. Shelley (link to bio) is a Thomaston resident who has experience working with buyers and sellers primarily on the residential side in the midcoast, and previously in Massachusetts. Merritt, a ‘recovering’ attorney and former professional sailor, brings years of real estate experience as well as modular custom design build expertise to the team. The custom design-build service means MRG can provide you a one stop shop for managing the sale of your existing home and the construction of your new home, whether you’re looking to downsize or expand for a growing family, or build your dream ocean-front home, we offer a single point of contact for project management and sale, reducing the stress of a new build.
It goes without saying that fall in the midcoast brings unlimited activities and opportunities to get out and enjoy this amazing (if too dry) weather we’ve had. A few of our favorites include Hiking in the Camden area (better views without the summer crowds), enjoying the Maker’s Market in Rockland, and of course apple picking – Hope Orchards being one of our favorites.
Finally, fall is a great time for planning and planting – a time to get bulbs planted for next spring’s flowers, and an excellent time to find discounted shrubs and flowers at garden stores as they reduce inventory and get ready for winter…one of our favorite spots is Moose Crossing on Rt. 1 in Waldoboro.
And of course, if your planning includes buying or selling your home or commercial property, or building a new home, or if you’re just curious to learn more about the real estate market in the midcoast, please don’t be shy, reach out and say hello! We’re always happy to meet for a coffee and share our expertise or just wax poetic about the midcoast region generally. Plus we’re always game for coffee!
Until then, we hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weather, crisp apples and quieter moments of Autumn.
